About me

Hello! Welcome to my webside

I'm Angeline Cuvertino, I'm 18 years old and I currently live in a small town in the mountains (Córdoba, Argentina). From there I develop my work with origami and tessellations, combining practice, study and teaching. The rhythm of this place, slower and more attentive, directly influences the way I observe, fold and think about paper.

This space is born from a sustained relationship with paper, from the patient observation of folds and from the need to share real processes, not just finished forms. Here you won't find magic solutions, but structures designed to be understood and explored.

Work, process, and moments from the origami community

How it all started

I started with origami at five years old, almost like a game. Over time, that game became a constant and increasingly conscious practice. As I grew up, so did my interest in understanding what's behind each figure: the logic of folding, the grids, the symmetries and the decisions that build a form.

Tessellations appeared when I started looking for repetition, rhythm and system. That's when I understood that paper doesn't just fold: it organizes, stretches and transforms.

Origami as a way of thinking

For me, origami is not just a technique or a decorative object. It's a way of thinking about space, structure and process. Each pattern is a reading tool: it shows you a possible path, but also leaves room to make mistakes, adjust and discover.

Learning, sharing and continuing to develop criteria

Over the years, I have participated in workshops and conventions in Argentina and abroad, reinforcing my interest in teaching and continuous learning. More recently, this process led to a scholarship that allowed me to travel to the United States and attend PCOC (Pacific Coast OrigamiUSA Conference), confirming that this path, between paper, technique, and study, can also be projected into the future.

I would like to share a short text that Origami USA published about me:

"Angeline will be joining us at PCOC 2025 in Sacramento, CA. Angeline is receiving a special scholarship in honor of Meenakshi Mukerji for her passion and ability to share origami with others. Angeline is from Córdoba, Argentina and has been folding since she was 5 years old. She is particularly interested in tessellations and is active in the Asociación de Origami Argentina, where she has led workshops"

Teaching from the process

A large part of my work is shaped by teaching. I'm not interested in someone replicating a model without understanding it; I'm interested in them being able to read a crease pattern, interpret a grid and make their own decisions.

That's why the tutorials and patterns I share are designed as study material: explained clearly, without unnecessary shortcuts and respecting the time it takes to learn.

What you'll find in this store

Here I share:

  • Crease patterns (CP) designed to be read and analyzed.
  • Step-by-step video tutorials, focused on process and technique.
  • Original tessellation designs, developed from research and personal practice.

My commitment

Each pattern I publish has gone through many tests, errors and adjustments before. My commitment is to offer honest, well-thought-out and useful material, both for those just starting out and for those who want to deepen their practice.

If something is not understood, it's explained again. If something doesn't work, it's reviewed. Learning is also that.

Thank you for being here, for taking the time and for being part of a community that values patience, detail and working with your hands.
